Welcome to Trimpley Sailing Club!
Trimpley Sailing Club is a well established and thriving, providing sailing throughout the year, in a beautiful location. Our main fleets are Laser and GP14s, we also have Toppers, Solos and more – all are welcome. We race on Sundays and run training for adults and children all year. Saturday morning is junior sailing for a full 3 seasons.
Our Location
Trimpley is a beautiful reservoir located between the River Severn and the Severn Valley Railway. The beautiful valley location ensures interesting winds – Trimpley sailors are sensitive to the wind, quick to respond. Our family friendly club has plenty of space for picnics between races, lovely sunsets and good walking for the non-sailors in the family.
Learn to sail at Trimpley
Learning to sail is at the heart of Trimpley Sailing Club. We have fully qualified RYA instructors for all levels of dinghy sailing and Powerboat Level 2. Every Saturday morning through the Spring to the Autumn is devoted to junior sailing and coaching. The club has its own training boats, a fleet of Topper dinghys and our young members have a successful track record of competing in the Topper Regionals and Nationals.
